Payment & Cancellation Policies
Understanding that both life and weather can be unpredictable, here is how Gators & Gold Fishing Charters will manage your trip:
PAYMENT
All trips are first come, first served and require a $200 deposit once we discuss and agree upon your date and trip type. No money changes hands until you know what you are paying for. The remaining balance can be paid either before or after your trip. Your choice.
Interac e-Transfer payments to gatorsandgold@gmail.com is the preferred payment method as these transactions are immediate and do not incur additional charges.
(Credit Card and AMEX invoices are subject to a processing fees)
GUIDE CANCELLATIONS
Since your safety is my top priority, conditions could arise that make fishing dangerous and/or downright miserable. If I determine that your trip is in jeopardy of being cancelled, I will touch base a minimum of 48hrs prior to discuss and re-schedule for the next available opportunity. If re-scheduling cannot be accommodated by both the guide and the client(s), Gators & Gold Fishing Charters will refund the full deposit.
CLIENT CANCELLATIONS
Realizing that things come up, it is expected that clients also provide Gators & Gold Fishing Charters with a minimum of 48hrs notice should a booked trip need to be postponed. In such cases, the full deposit will be retained by Gators & Gold Fishing Charters and applied to a rescheduled trip. If a trip cannot be rescheduled by the time the open water or ice season concludes (15 Oct or 31 Mar respectively), your full deposit will be refunded. If notice is not given or the client(s) do not show up at the pre-determined launch, the full deposit is forfeited.
WAIVER
Prior to commencing our trip, each adult participant will be required to review and sign a waiver. For participants under 16, the parent and/or legal guardian will sign on their behalf. The form is linked below and I will have physical copies on hand.
